SMEDAN Kicks Off New MSME Grant for Nigerians

SMEDAN has Kicks Off another New MSME Grant for Nigerians in partnership with USADF

The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has announced a $100,000 grant opportunity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria and throughout Africa.

The United States created this new grant program to help small businesses grow in Nigeria and other African countries.

ASBC is a business accelerator that provides loans ranging from $100,000 to $1 million to SMEs, as well as technical assistance (TA) and grants of up to $100,000.

ASBC focuses on SMEs in Sub-Saharan African countries in agriculture, food security, healthcare, and education, as well as water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), with a special emphasis on SMEs that address the climate crisis and gender equity concerns through their work.

ASBC provides capital/grants, mentoring, training, and technical assistance to its partners in order to help them develop their business models, strengthen their management skills, expand their market reach, and deepen their impact.

ASBC seeks to collaborate with for-profit business owners that are registered in their home country and are majority African-owned. Ideal candidates are ambitious, full-time management teams with a clear vision who are driven to grow their business and deepen their social impact.

Businesses must have been in operation for at least two years and be revenue positive with a scalable product/service.
