Improved NIN Slip and Mobile App Launched By Federal Government in 2021 – See Full Details

This is very great to hear as Federal Government of Nigeria has recently launched Improved NIN Slip and Mobile App for Identity Card Enrollment across the 36 States.

So we have come to give you this gist here because the NIMC Mobile apps will work effectively with SIM Card. We want to let you know that the Honorable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Patami has approved the development and release of the National Identity Number (NIN) Slip and a Mobile App.

However, the NIMC Mobile App is Mobile friendly to use and very easy to download. So for anyone who wants to get this app, go to Google Play Store and Download it there.

Note: this app is free of charge and you are not paying any fee for it.

So don’t forget that this is part of the FG Policy to improve the process of obtaining NIN and Linking it to SIM, which was sent to the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) through the NCC for implementation.

What About Improved NIN Slip and Mobile App?

Its very clear that this app is very good especially at this period where people are yet to link their SIM Card with their National Identity Number, so the App provides a secure channel for all Nigerians and legal residents to easily verify and authenticate their identities on-the-go using smartphones. It also enables them to link the NIN to their phone numbers.

However, The App offers a built-in harmonization process that allows for its use across other government services including the NCC, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Federal Road Safety Commission, and National Health Insurance Scheme, to mention a few.
