The Honourable Minister of Education( HME), Mallam Adamu, hereby invites Nigerians who are interested and qualified to take the Computer BasedTest( CBT) for the 2023/2024 Nomination for the Federal Government Scholarship Award for the following
NIGERIA AWARD SCHOLARSHIP (NA) 2023/2024 TENABLE IN NIGERIA PUBLIC TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS
- A first degree with Second Class Honours Division is needed for postgraduate studies. The Applicants must be enrolled as a full– time Students at a Federal or state university.
- All other Applicants — UG, HND, and NCE — must be enrolled full-time in their second year or above time at a Federal or State University, polytechnic, monotechnic, or College of education. Physically challenged scholars, as well as all undergraduate education applicants, must have a Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) of at least 5.0 on a 7- point scale or a minimum of 4.0 on a five-point scale.
- On a scale of 4.0, all NCE and HND applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 or above.

All qualified candidates are advised to:
a. Visit the Federal Ministry of Education’s website www.education.gov.ng and click on Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page:
b. Read the Guidelines and Then Complete the Application Form online
c. Print the Examination slip.
d. Double Entries will be disqualified!

GENERAL NOTICE: During the application, process candidates are expected to indicate the following:
i) Candidates are advised to choose the Computer Based Test Centre (CBT) very close to them;
iii) The registration portal will be opened 9th May, 2023 to 20th June, 2023.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- The scholarship is tenable in Nigeria and takes effect from the beginning of the academic session.
- It shall not be held at the same time as another Award nor for part-time studies.
- Change of course or Institution is not allowed while enjoying the award.
