What is the Aim of this Program – Special Public Works (SPW)

• This scheme is to empower the youth and create job opportunity to the poor masses.
• The initiative plans to employ 1,000 persons from each of the 774 LGA in the Country
• Each of the beneficiaries will benefit or get N20,000 monthly to carry out public works
• The implementation agency for the programme is the National Directorate of Employment (NDE)

Those who will participate for this scheme will get N20,000 each on monthly basis and they will be known as government workers.
